I often eat at Bageland in Thornebrook Village. It’s a little mom and pop restaurant in Gainesville with great food and great prices. Click here to visit their Facebook page.
They also encourage composting. I’ve gotten kitchen garbage from them before. It used to be you had to call the day before so they could save the stuff for you. Now the bucket is just in the corner waiting for any gardener to grab it and go. Well, you take the contents and return the bucket. Here is Malay with last Friday’s kitchen scraps.
I wish more restaurants adopted similar practices.
